About Tokenomics

The Governance Process

The CGS governance process is straightforward and robust. It ensures all proposals are aligned with the platform's mission.

Here’s how it works.

Proposal submission

A member of the CGS community submits a proposal for changes (to the app, processes, fee structure etc) or new features.

Proposal review

Proposals are reviewed by the CGS team to ensure they align with the platform’s Mission, Vision, and core values.

Contract creation

Approved proposals are deployed as governance contracts, making them publicly visible.

Voting

Every month, token holders vote for / against the proposal using their CGS tokens, via the CGS DAO system.

Each vote’s strength is proportional to the number of tokens held.

Validation & quorum

Votes are validated Information outline , quorum is calculated, and the proposal is either approved / rejected, based on community consensus.

To encourage ongoing engagement, CGS rewards active participants in the governance process.

Governance rewards

Rewards are distributed monthly to token holders who vote. Rewards are based on their share of the total token supply.

Fair allocation

Only users who participate in voting are eligible for rewards. This ensures incentives align with active involvement.

Unclaimed rewards

Any unclaimed governance rewards are returned to the CGS treasury to support future development and community growth.

KYC Required

KYC is required to claim governance rewards, ensuring secure distribution. (Handled by a 3rd party, not CGS.)
