Step 3: Complete the KYC Process
As a Grower, completing Know Your Customer (KYC) verification is required for compliance with food safety regulations and ensuring quality standards.
- Important: We do not hold or store any KYC information. This data is processed securely by a trusted third-party service, which returns only a verification response to us.
- Submit required information, including identification documents, via the secure KYC portal within the app. Approval is usually quick, allowing you to proceed once verified.
Step 4: Set Up Your Profile
Your Grower profile is essential to building trust with consumers. Include the following details:
- Business or Garden Name: Enter the name of your business, farm, or garden.
- Years in Operation: Let buyers know your level of experience in growing and supplying produce.
- Store Locations: Provide the address(es) of your store or farm, including pickup points if applicable.
- Profile Description: Write a brief introduction about your farm or garden, highlighting your growing practices and any unique aspects of your operation.
- Upload Photos: Add pictures of your garden, farm, or market to bolster consumer trust and showcase the quality of your produce.
Step 5: Create Listings
Start listing your fresh produce on the platform:
- Produce Details: Add the names, quantities, and prices of the items you’re selling.
- Quality Descriptions: Include details about the quality, freshness, or any certifications (e.g., organic, pesticide-free).
- Availability: Indicate when the items will be available for purchase.
- Photos: Upload clear, appealing images of your produce to attract buyers.
Step 6: Set Delivery and Pickup Schedules
Growers can offer both pickup and delivery options:
- Delivery Schedule: Set available days and times for delivery. You may also enable optional third-party delivery services.
- Pickup Schedule: Provide the hours when customers can collect their purchases directly from your location.
- Route Optimization: Utilize CGS’s in-app route tools to optimize delivery routes and reduce travel time.
